96 Rosmini Intermediate students went to Tauranga for an unforgettable week at the 2026 AIMS Games
Rosmini sent a strong contingent of 96 Intermediate students down to Tauranga for an unforgettable week at the 2026 AIMS Games.
Our team sports delivered impressive performances across the board:
Water Polo: 2nd from 25 teams
Hockey: 3rd from 21 teams
Basketball: 6th from 84 teams
Futsal: 18th from 56 teams
Rugby 7s: 24th from 46 teams
Football: 25th from 69 teams
Our individual athletes also took to the stage with success:
Gymnastics: Maxim Liddle took out the Gold medal, closely followed by Mason Lynn, who earned Silver.
Trampolining: Fresh off the hockey field, Matty McCartney bounced his way to a Gold medal finish.
Canoe Racing: Harry Lloyd and Archer Wilson joined forces to capture Silver in the mixed relay.
Tennis: Rosmini dominated the Division 3 doubles final! Zac Kelly and Will Foster claimed Gold in a hard-fought battle against teammates Flynn Dufty and Mac Stinton, who earned Silver.
Badminton: Rob Perez notched 5 straight victories to advance to the Top 32 out of 200 players in Division 1.
Cross Country: Three runners cracked the top 31 in a field of 155, led by Jack Huang in 26th place. Their combined efforts earned Rosmini an outstanding 4th overall in the team standings.
A shout-out also goes to our mountain bikers, surfers, rock climber, and swimmer, who embraced the challenge and represented Rosmini with pride throughout the week.
