We came together to honour the academic, athletic, cultural, and service accomplishments of our Pasifika students
On Thursday 29 October, the Rosmini Pasifika Parents Komiti hosted our Pasifika End of Year Celebration and Awards Evening. Surrounded by vibrant decorations, we came together to honour the academic, athletic, cultural, and service accomplishments of our Pasifika students across all year levels, as well as farewell our Year 13 cohort.
Guests heard from Pasifika student leader Matthew Poe, who shared his journey from a shy intermediate student to a proud leader. Matthew highlighted how being welcomed into a Pasifika breakfast in Year 7 transformed his school experience, encouraging him to immerse himself in the school's cultural life and build confidence in his heritage.
The celebration featured a delicious buffet dinner, a traditional Tongan dance, and the presentation of awards recognising excellence in school, church, and community life. Congratulations to all our award recipients!
